Chickadee
Infant Room (6 weeks-1.5years)
Bring us all the babies!! This room can be home to 8 babies at a time. Given the ages and development, sometimes this is a true infant room and others it reflects more of a toddler room. This room focuses on fine motor and gross motor milestones with an emphasis on books and music.
Robin
The Wonderful Twos (2-3.5 years)
Where did Llama Llama learn to share? Right here! This classroom houses 13 kids. They are finessing their words and manners, learning to potty train and learning to problem solve. This age finds their voice and their emotions, spending much of this year learning to navigate both.
Toucan
Toddler Room (1.5-2.5 years)
Where are all the Wild Things? Right here. This room is full of 12 toddlers! They are rambunctious, loud, happy and BUSY! This room focuses on honing some of those fine motor and gross motor milestones, builds the basis of verbal vocabulary, and explore their senses in all the ways.
Starling
Where the sidewalk begins… (3+)
Here is where the foundations for reading begin. This room of 9, focuses on phonemic awareness, the building blocks of phonetics, and exploration of the many questions kids ask. Where does our food go when we eat? Why does it rain? These are all teaching moments, that we seize and run with.
We are a small and cozy facility. We can only house 42 students in total. With that, we have found it necessary to have rooms based on skills and development more so than age. Our curriculum accounts for multi-age classrooms. Our goal is to encourage students to reach their God-given potential through purposeful play, one-on-one opportunities with our teachers and a rich learning environment. All of our teachers are student-centered, and honestly, amazing humans. When you are here, you are family.
